About Michael

Michael Vanderlaine specializes in developing practices that form coherent accessibility across the school climate and culture. He builds comprehensive and holistic multi-tiered systems of support that strategically and sustainably operationalize the mission, vision, and goals of equity-seeking schools. Leveraging his background and experience in the creative arts world, he works with educational organizations to synthesize innovative, creative, and collaborative solutions for leaders and learners as they embark on a path to success. 

Bolstered by his enthusiastic approach to transforming learning environments, Michael enthusiastically embraces collaboration and facilitation helping organizations co-create the conditions that allow a learning community to flourish while prizing the humanization of all caregivers, educators, and community members to sustain student success. 

His scholarship, advocacy, and research continue to center around supporting equitable educational experiences that center the unique identities of all students. He is passionate about coaching and partnering with educators and families alike and helping them navigate and transform the educational landscape where meaningful support, high expectations, and collaboration open the doors to deeper learning to all.
